What is dock-to-stock?

Dock-to-Stock is a supply chain KPI that measures the total time required to receive an inbound shipment at a warehouse dock, process it, and place it into an active storage location where it is "live" and available for sale. This cycle includes unloading trucks, inspecting goods for damage, verifying quantities against a Purchase Order (PO), labeling (barcoding), and physical put-away.
